The Masonic Home of Missouri proudly announces TruGreen as a Corporate Sponsor
The Masonic Home of Missouri is proud to announce a new corporate sponsorship with TruGreen, a company nationally recognized for its dedication to creating healthier, greener outdoor spaces. TruGreen has long been a trusted partner in caring for our grounds, and we are excited to deepen this relationship through their generous support of our mission, including upcoming events such as our Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Masonic Service Days.
About TruGreen
Founded in 1973, TruGreen has grown to become the nation’s leading lawn care provider, servicing millions of residential and commercial customers across the United States. Their team of trained specialists offers a range of services from lawn fertilization and weed control to tree and shrub care, all backed by science-based solutions and a commitment to exceptional service.
While TruGreen’s reach is national, their heart for local communities shines through. Their Columbia-based team has worked with the Masonic Home of Missouri for many years—ensuring our grounds are a welcoming and well-maintained space for residents, families, staff, and guests.
“I have worked with the Masonic Home of Missouri for many years, taking care of the trees and shrubs and lawn.” said Gary Burry, Market General Manager, TruGreen, Fenton, Missouri Branch. “After our previous experience sponsoring a hole at a Masonic Home of Missouri Golf Tournament, and learning more about the cause, I knew I wanted to help more.”

Growing Together: From Groundskeeping to Giving Back
What began as a professional relationship focused on lawn and landscape care has naturally blossomed into a deeper, mission-driven partnership. Over the years, TruGreen has become an integral part of maintaining the Masonic Home of Missouri’s beautiful outdoor spaces, helping us create a welcoming environment for everyone who visits our complex.
“We make sure the lawn is as perfect as we can get it. We also keep the large number of shrubs alive and beautiful,” said Burry. “Many members and visitors see our TruGreen flag planted in the lawn of Masonic Home of Missouri following each service we complete.”
Their commitment to excellence and pride in their work are evident throughout our grounds. As the relationship has expanded, so too has TruGreen’s investment in our mission.
“For me the partnership allows my team to help children. Interact with members of the community with the same altruist mindset,” said Burry. “What better way to expose our team to community leaders than in an outside event such as the golf tournament.”
Supporting Events and Building Community
TruGreen’s new role as a Corporate Sponsor reflects more than just financial support—it’s a commitment to shared values. They’ve stepped up to support our Annual Charity Golf Tournament, an important fundraiser that helps us serve our Partnership Programs, Creating-A-Partnership that assists children and Partnering to Honor to assist veterans. Their involvement extends even further, as they’ve also pledged to participate in upcoming Masonic Service Days in Joplin and Columbia, where Masons and volunteers gather across the state for hands-on service projects.
Though still early in this new chapter, the enthusiasm for the future is evident:
“We look forward to having many highlights to share with you soon,” said Burry.

A Shared Vision for Impact
TruGreen’s sponsorship not only strengthens our ability to serve—it also creates meaningful engagement for their employees and deepens their roots in the community.
“It will create a sense of pride that we are helping local children,” Burry said. “I feel events such as this (Masonic Service Days and Annual Charity Golf Tournament) help bond a team and help retain employees.”
This partnership represents what we value most: shared purpose, mutual respect, and a genuine desire to uplift those we serve.
Thank You, TruGreen
We are thrilled to welcome TruGreen as a Corporate Sponsor of the Masonic Home of Missouri. With their support, we continue our work to provide meaningful assistance and care for Masonic families throughout the state. Together, we’re cultivating more than beautiful grounds, we’re growing a stronger, more connected community.
